Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $16 million in capital outlay projects in Colfax County, including upgrades to the Cimmaron wastewater system, vehicle purchases for the Colfax County Sheriff’s Department, and improvements to the senior center in Eagle Nest.
Local Economic Development Act appropriations, a program championed by Governor Lujan Grisham, have resulted in $755,000 in private investment in Colfax County that will create 30 jobs.
Governor Lujan Grisham invested $77.2 million into road projects in Colfax County, including $21.3 million for the reconstruction of the I-25 Raton Pass, $22.8 million for interchange construction at I-25 and US 64/87, and $10.1 million for the rehabilitation of I-25 in Springer.
