Bernalillo

Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $418 million in capital outlay projects in Bernalillo County, including funding for the Albuquerque Real Time Crime Center, affordable housing construction, as well as funding to construct the new UNM Hospital tower.

Local Economic Development Act appropriations, a program championed by Governor Lujan Grisham, will result in over

$1.8 million in private investment in Bernalillo County that will create nearly 4,000 jobs. Governor Lujan Grisham’s administration supported 3,333 jobs in Bernalillo County through the Job Training Incentive Program.

In 2022, Governor Lujan Grisham allocated $10 million for the Affordable Housing Trust and $10 million to combat homelessness, making a critical investment in affordable housing in New Mexico’s most populous county.
