Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $73 million in capital outlay projects in San Juan County, including funding for the Shiprock Police Department public safety complex, water and electricity utility infrastructure in multiple chapters on the Navajo Nation, and funding for improvements and upgrades at the San Juan Regional Medical Center.
Local Economic Development Act appropriations, a program championed by Governor Lujan Grisham, have resulted in $3,535,850,000 in private investment in San Juan County that will create 180 jobs. Governor Lujan Grisham’s administration supported 211 jobs in San Juan County through the Job Training Incentive Program.
